Tina Della Vedova grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and first learned to cook in the kitchen with her Nona and momma (and sometimes auntie). It was through her neighborhood’s recipe exchanges that Tina first discovered her love of cooking and entertaining. She finished cooking school in 1984 and went on to hold many positions in the food industry including apprentice at the Royal York in Toronto, Ontario. She also ran a small catering business for several years before furthering her studies in nursing & nutrition (finishing in 1992). She has consulted with a variety of restaurants in Toronto and Vancouver on their menus and has had her recipes used as feature dishes in some of these establishments. In addition to cooking and entertaining, her love also stretches to travel and music, covering a surprisingly wide array of genres. Tina has been involved in the development of the Green Garden Gang™ concept for the past ten years and is a key member of the team as Vice President of Operations for Domestic and International. |
